First car shoot with the DSLR

So here it is. This weekend on my rafting trip, got a shoot in with my buddies Subaru STi. There are more pics I might post later. Took around 100 pics of the car and about 20 of them came out how I wanted them to. So I will post a few for now. But all in all I was very pleased with the ones that came out. I caught the lighting just right in some of the pics.

cheers to living in the land of oregon~! i am pretty far east.. far away from everything. livin my days in the forest.. haha but i do find myself in the beaverton/portland area quite often. such a great area. and only about a three hour drive from where i'm at! i love driving along the columbia gorge.. soo nice !

i think my 18-55mm lens took a dump. ill set it on AF and its very slow and doesnt fully focus. i tried the 75-300mm and it focuses just fine...relieved its not the camera but sucks its the closep lens i use a lot.

for the borders you open the image in photoshop.

Do this:

Set Foreground color to black (by pressing "D" on the keyboard)

Select--> All

Select-->Modify--> Border

Width= (i use 25-30 px)

Edit--> Fill

Done =D
