First car shoot with the DSLR

So here it is. This weekend on my rafting trip, got a shoot in with my buddies Subaru STi. There are more pics I might post later. Took around 100 pics of the car and about 20 of them came out how I wanted them to. So I will post a few for now. But all in all I was very pleased with the ones that came out. I caught the lighting just right in some of the pics.

So since my other lens broke and it was the only I had I decided to buy another one. I had been looking for an 18-55 for a little while, but when I hit the repair shop today they had the 50mm f/1.8 and I snatched it up. In love with it already, finally I can take like portraits and stuff without walking 40 feet away. But yah headin to a log cabin up in the mountains this weekend, 4 feet of snow and lookin to get some amazing shots. So be sure to check back sunday for new piccahs.

cheers to living in the land of oregon~! i am pretty far east.. far away from everything. livin my days in the forest.. haha but i do find myself in the beaverton/portland area quite often. such a great area. and only about a three hour drive from where i'm at! i love driving along the columbia gorge.. soo nice !
